The obstetrics and gynecology faculty of the Residency Program is notable for the background, training and experience of its members. Fulltime faculty includes attending surgeons physicians all of whom hold appointments in the Department of OB/GYN at the University of North Carolina, School of Medicine in Chapel Hill. Their primary responsibility is resident education. Our entire faculty is based at NHRMC and University Physicians.

Dr. Lofgren joined Women's Health Specialties and the SEAHEC faculty in October 1997 as a generalist in obstetrics and gynecology after ten years in private practice. Dr. Lofgren is part of the faculty at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. He is an Assistant Professor for the New Hanover Regional Medical Center OB/GYN Residency Training Program and works closely with the Nurse Midwifery Program.

Dr. Easley joined the faculty at SEAHEC in 2011. He specializes in treating complex gynecologic conditions including urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, abnormal bleeding, fecal incontinence, and menopause. Dr. Easley offers no-incision tubal sterilization, minimally invasive pelvic reconstructive surgery and robotic gynecologic surgeries. He is an Assistant Professor in the New Hanover Regional Medical Center Ob/Gyn Residency Training Program.
